Privacy Policy
The Sounds Promise: Sounds is a calm, offline space. There are no accounts, no servers, and no trackers. Your mixes, favorites, and settings never leave your device — we literally cannot see them.
Information Stays on Your Device
Sounds is designed to work entirely offline. While we use the phrase "data" for clarity, it is important to understand that we do not collect, see, or transmit any of it to a server. Everything you create or configure is stored exclusively on your own device.

No Account, No Tracking
Sounds does not ask you to sign up, log in, or provide any personal details. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or third-party trackers of any kind.
Zero Profiling: Because we never receive your data, it is impossible for us to build a profile on you, serve ads, or sell information to anyone. There is simply nothing to sell.
All audio is bundled inside the app, so playing a sound does not require an internet connection or a request to any server.
Permissions We Use
Sounds requests only the permissions needed to keep audio playing reliably in the background. Each one is used solely for playback — never for tracking.

Storage & Security
Your mixes and settings are saved in a secure local store on your device. Because there is no cloud account or central database, your data is as private and as secure as the device it lives on.
We recommend using device-level security (Face ID, fingerprint, or a passcode) to protect access to your device and, by extension, your Sounds data.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. You are always in full control of it.
Delete a Mix
Remove any custom mix directly in the app, and it is erased from your device's storage immediately.
Uninstalling
Standard uninstallation via your OS removes all local files and settings associated with Sounds.
Note: Deletion is final. Because we don't back up your data to any server, we cannot recover mixes or settings once they are removed.
Third-Party Services
Sounds does not include trackers or third-party analytics SDKs. The app stores (Google Play and the Apple App Store) may collect basic usage metrics — such as installs and crash reports — as described in their own privacy policies. This is outside our control and not tied to any personal profile on our side.
Children's Privacy
Sounds is safe for all ages. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases that require personal data, and no external links that gather information.
